Estimated due date (EDD) = transfer date + (266 − embryo age in days) days. For D3 cleavage-stage embryos, EDD = transfer date + 263 days; for D5 blastocysts, + 261 days; for D6 blastocysts, + 260 days.

If only the egg retrieval date is known, you can use “egg retrieval date + 266 days” as a preliminary estimate, but you should prioritize using the exact embryo transfer date and embryo age in days.

Gestational age and the due date should ultimately be confirmed by healthcare institutions based on ultrasound. The 260 days for D6 are calculated using the same formula.
